Pianist and composer Monica Dominique's music career extends over five decades. She has been awarded ”Guldkatten” for her efforts for Swedish jazz, the prize being voted by an audience. Here we hear her playing on her Hammond organ with bassist Rigmor Bådal and drummer Justina Lakin. The jazz trio DLB, formed a few years ago, plays fun, timeless, organ swing in famous jazz songs. Guest artist is Alto Saxophoneist and composer Amanda Sedgwick, a well-known soloist and band leader on the jazz scenes, both in the United States and in Sweden. Singer in this concert is Hayati Kafe, who also has sung for many years on the big stages.
